I’ve selected the meditations I teach for two reasons.
They are rooted in powerful practices from ancient traditions, and have been proven for thousands of years.
They are very easy to understand and easefully incorporated into the busy modern lives we live.
Meditation is simply focusing your attention in a way that allows your mind and body to experience a deep state of rest. In this deep rest our physiology begins to process, soften, heal and effortlessly cultivate a state of restful awareness. The more we dip into this deep state of rest and relaxation, the more calm, connection and creativity we naturally bring into our daily lives. In addition to guided meditations, we teach two styles of meditation that you can practice on your own:
Primoridal Sound Meditation
A mantra based meditation technique based on ancient Vedic principles and modernized by Drs David Simon and Deepak Chopra. This technique is both simple and yet powerful. Primordial Sound Meditation is the foundational technique we teach and can be practiced by anyone who can think a thought. It is even suitable for children ages 4 and up.
Kundalini Yoga and Meditation includes many powerful meditations, which we teach based on personal needs. This practice is known as ‘the yoga and meditation of self awareness’. The meditations we teach from the Kundalini tradition are based on the individual’s specific needs. For example, there are many effective meditations for health challenges such as anxiety, immune disorders, glandular disorders, hormonal dysregulation, digestive upset, stress, and many more. Kundalini meditations are another tool for you to have in your toolbox; they can be used any time throughout your day.
Mindfulness is paying attention in a particular way: on purpose, in the present moment + non judgmentally. Its increasing our awareness of what’s happening in our minds, throughout our bodies, and in the world around us. Mindfulness frees us from stress by giving us the mental flexibility to choose one experience over another, to direct our attention away from negative experiences and instead focus on neutral or positive ones. Studies show that the most efficient and effective way to cultivate mindfulness is through a regular meditation practice.
Known as the yoga of fulfillment and self reliance, Kundalini Yoga is both a physical and meditative practice. Kundalini Yoga classes use a combination of breathing exercises, postures/asanas, mantras, and meditations. The power in Kundalini yoga is its technological workings on the glandular and nervous systems to move energy in the body while creating evolutionary wellness and oneness.
Reiki + Intuitive Energy Healing
Reiki refers to the same energy as Prana in Yoga, and Chi in Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture.
The Japanese word Reiki means and is actually "Spiritually Guided Life Force Energy" and Universal Life Force Energy."
Scientifically, Reiki is the light emissions conducted from one organic species to another. Reiki is essentially very high frequency light. As Albert Einstein told us through his equation, everything, including our bodies, is composed of energy.
The high vibrational light frequencies of Reiki balance the recipient's disturbances in their body's bio-energy field, remove blockages, balance chakras, promote our bodies' natural healing abilities and promotes increased wellness. Reiki is a powerful tool for accelerating physical and emotional healing, alleviating stress, re-energizing the body and restoring balance to the recipient. In One-on-One healing sessions, I combine Reiki energy with the intuitive guidance I receive to support the highest healing and clearing for clients.
