KHALSA WAY PRENATAL YOGA

Virtual Prenatal Yoga to support your sacred pregnancy journey.

Congratulations mama! Your child’s amazing journey begins when it enters your womb and during gestation your child connects with your essence for the first time. That is why I work so closely with moms who want to feel nurtured, supported and balanced; and your children benefit too. I am a Khalsa Way PreNatal Yoga certified instructor, which allows me to help in this specific modality to help moms feel empowered, educated, and confident.  This form of yoga is designed to support you and your baby: emotionally, physically, spiritually and mentally throughout your pregnancy, birth and beyond.

Of all of the beautiful yoga practices, Khalsa Way was specifically created for pregnancy.  While it includes postures from various lineages of yoga, it’s fundamentals, meditations and mantras come from the practice of Kundalini Yoga. Moms find this practice to be both graceful and powerful as it speaks to each woman in her own unique way during her pregnancy. It is an opportunity for moms looking to experience all of the universal and unique experiences of becoming a mother. All virtual classes and one-on-ones will be catered to your individual needs, giving you the opportunity to practice at your own pace. Whether you are on your conception journey, newly pregnant, or far along in your pregnancy, personalized prenatal yoga sessions are designed to help you create the exact mothering experience you are looking for.

Practicing Throughout Your Pregnancy

  • 0-12 WEEKS

    • Sessions during your 1st trimester are often relaxed and focused on meditations and gentle movements. Since you may be experiencing nausea, fatigue, and dizziness due to the rapid growth happening inside of your womb, the goal of these sessions is to keep things easeful and nourishing for you and your baby during this exciting early time in your pregnancy. These meditations also support your emotional state as your body begins to change, hormones surge, and prenatal anxiety becomes more prevalent.

  • 13-34 WEEKS

    • 2nd trimester sessions are typically full of joy, playfulness, and movement. Since many mamas feel their best in the 2nd trimester, sessions are designed to support you as your womb and belly grow, support strengthening and gently stretching your body while also strengthening your connection to your baby. During this time you will be learning meditations to calm your mind, connect to your inner wisdom, and begin preparing for birth.

  • 35-41 WEEKS

    • As you approach the end of your pregnancy, it’s now time to shift your practice towards the moment you get to meet your baby! It’s time to support your low back and any aches you may have as you reach full term, while continuing to strengthen the pelvic floor in preparation for bringing your baby into the world. Our focus will also be on supporting and preparing you mentally, physically and spiritually for the amazing day you will meet your baby face to face!

These Virtual One-on-One sessions are for moms looking to find deeper levels of connection with their baby, while ensuring they are practicing in a way that is safe and supports them both during this important time. Click here to schedule or to set up a complimentary consultation.

As part of my goal to provide new moms with all of the resources they need during this exciting time, I have collaborated with two other amazing parenting experts to provide an entire course for new moms. Through The Peace of Mind Initiative, we provide online courses and live one on one help to expecting and new moms. The courses are designed to walk you through every step of the way as you prepare for delivery and then incorporate your newborn into your new world as parent. Our goal is to ensure that every mom has a team and the support to give her everything needed to rock the transition to motherhood.
